Icebound and Arboreal in collaboration

Icebound and Arboreal have launched a partnership that makes it easy for you to use your field measurements directly in Icebound – ForestPlan.

You can now use your measurements from Arboreal Skog in ForestPlan, part of the Icebound Forest suite. This means you no longer have to enter your measurements manually, and you always have access to your previous measurements within the platform.

By selecting a stand in ForestPlan and then clicking the “Import from Arboreal” button, tree species, volumes, heights, and basal areas are imported into ForestPlan. You don’t need to worry about where you placed the sample plots; ForestPlan automatically identifies which stand they belong to.

ForestPlan—part of the Icebound Forest suite—is the professional digital tool for forest owners and managers who want to achieve more sustainable and profitable forestry operations. With ForestPlan, you get a complete overview and control over your forest data and plans—right in your web browser or via your mobile device out in the field.

Arboreal Skog is the leading mobile app that replaces all manual tools for measuring forests. By using AR and LiDAR technology on your phone, you can measure the diameter, height, area, and location of each tree. It works just as well offline as online and in all types of forests.
